We often think love means holding on.
Holding tighter.
Staying longer.
Not letting go.
But sometimes… love asks something much harder.
To soften our grip.
To release.
To let someone we love take the next step—without us.
At the end of life, this can be one of the most tender and difficult moments we face.
Because letting go doesn’t mean we stop loving them.
It means we love them enough to choose their peace… even when it breaks our heart.
It means sitting beside them, holding their hand, and quietly saying,
“It’s okay. You can rest.” 💛
There may be things left unsaid.
Questions without answers.
Moments we wish we had more of.
But love doesn’t need perfect closure to be real.
Sometimes, the most sacred act of love…
is allowing someone the space to go peacefully.
Not because we’re ready—
but because we love them.
If you or someone you love is walking through this tender space of loving and letting go, you don’t have to carry it alone. I’m here to walk alongside you with compassion, presence, and support.
