I had a request for The Bird of Paradise Pose, or Svarga Dvijasana, for today’s 3:00 Flow 2 at so we will work with our hips, hamstrings and shoulders on our journey towards The Bird of Paradise!

I’m subbing Flow 2 at North Ray Yoga on La Brea tonight at 7:30! On the menu: hips and shoulders! I'm guessing many of you will be able to go much deeper into Eka Pada Rajakapotasana than I can! (Yes, the hands eventually reach the foot for some, but that isn’t what it is about. The hip and shoulder work on the journey is where we truly benefit from poses like this.)

Finally getting back to running… making every step count when I use the  appCatching the sunset is a nice bonus too!
