Membership Billing & Scheduling Updates

Hi everyone,

As we continue to grow, weโ€™re making a few updates to simplify memberships and scheduling and help everything run more smoothly for everyone.

Bi-Weekly Membership Billing

Over the next 1โ€“2 billing cycles, all memberships will be moving to a bi-weekly billing schedule based on how many times you train each week (1x, 2x, or 3x).

This means billing will run every two weeks instead of monthly, creating a simpler and more consistent structure rather than adjusting for 4- vs. 5-week months. Your training schedule and programming will stay the same.

If you train 1x per week, for example, youโ€™ll simply be billed every two weeks for two sessions at a time.

Action Needed: Card on File

If you do not already have a card saved on file, please take a moment to add one through your account so billing continues smoothly without interruption.

Online Scheduling Through Gymdesk

Between now and June 1, weโ€™ll also be transitioning to online scheduling through Gymdesk.

This will allow you to:
โ€ข Book your own sessions
โ€ข Reschedule when needed (within our cancellation window)
โ€ข Join a waitlist for full sessions
โ€ข Manage your schedule more easily without needing to coordinate by text

If you currently have a regular recurring session time, weโ€™ll be working to have you already placed into those sessions in the calendar before we fully go live, so your normal routine stays consistent.

Once scheduling is fully live, we will no longer be scheduling sessions by text.

Weโ€™ll send your Gymdesk booking link and login details as we get closer to launch.

Get ready to unwind and recover with our new Yoga Stretch Class starting Saturday, Feb 8 at 10AM!

Weโ€™re thrilled to announce the launch of our new Yoga Stretch Class, taught by the amazing Marti Foster! As a seasoned yoga instructor and an adored QSC client, Marti brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to this new weekly class. This class is designed to seamlessly blend with your usual strength workouts, enhancing your flexibility and recovery. Not only will you reduce muscle tension and improve your range of motion, but you'll also find that this restorative practice helps you unwind from the daily demands of life. The first class will be at the garage gym, but following classes will be at Bubb Park or Cuesta Park (weather permitting)!

We just got back from our first family Disneyland trip!

We spent the whole day from park open to close on Friday. May May loved it so much she had a blast! She loved all the rides she went on except this Star Wars one that scared her quite a bit. Jamie was a little more iffy about the whole thing Lol. He cried on every ride he was able to go with us if i'm not mistaken :)

The next day we went to this Natural History Museum near USC. Maeve loves fossils and dino's and everything like that so she had fun here too.

Just a short clip of Jamie at the park. May May's favorite "ride" at the park was this carousel merry go round Lol - hard to believe! too funny.

We were able to do this because of you!

Sometimes when you really don't want to do something (train), just start with putting on your lifters. Put on some tunes. You'll stare at your gear and then force yourself to lift and then all the sudden you get a great session in ๐Ÿ˜†

I've been reading Atomic Habits lately and it's got a lot of great strategies to get yourself to pull off things when you really don't want to do them. Great stuff ๐Ÿ˜Ž

It's September Already!

This summer seemed really fast for us this year. We did a trip to Mendocino, and I spent two weeks at Camp Pendleton this year for our annual training. Got a couple videos of our training from Camp Pendleton below.

Much of the rest of the time we were working and doing activities with the kids. Can't believe it's already September and school's starting back up again!

This one's from when BlackHawk's came to fly us over to San Clemente Island for some training.

This one's just a clip of what our Illumination rounds look like at night time.

So now that it's September, all of us are adjusting to our new schedules, and setting up training for the rest of the month / this last quarter of the year.

We are approaching what is statistically the worst time of year for health and fitness as Americans. We aren't going to let that be us!

So it's important at this time to focus and create a plan for this last quarter of the year. We are going to conduct Goal Review's, and we'll review how things went over the summer, and shoot for some new targets before Christmas and New Years so we can go in with a plan.

It's time to get back into gear and finish the year strong in your health and fitness goals. Let us help you through this next quarter.
