WARNING VENOMOUS SNAKES ON CLUB GROUNDS It is snake season and several members had encountered rattlers.

Prevention tips to avoid a snake bite:

- always be aware of your surroundings
- walk in areas where the ground is clear so you can see where you step
- wear protective clothing, (ei long pants and hiking boots)
- wear gloves when move brush or rocks
- don't tease, kill or handle a rattlesnake

If you encounter a snake, don't panic or blindly run away. Look carefully where you are going.

If you are bitten by a snake call the New Mexico Poison Center 1-800-222-1222 and get to the nearest hospital right away.

VANDALISM at the Club is not taken lightly. Members using archery targets for pistol use is a violation to the LASC Memberships Agreement. Anyone found deliberately destructing or damaging Club property will be fined and addressed by the Board for further legal proceedings.

The white targets on rolling wooden frames are for ARCHERY USE ONLY.

**COVID-19 PANDEMIC OPERATIONS ANNOUNCEMENT**

We are re-opening LASC on a limited basis as of 8am tomorrow morning.

All members must schedule appointments to use a particular range at the Club.

Please watch this video that explains how to sign up at the booking calendar website and how to affirm you will abide by revised range use rules during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Indoor Range is open from 8am to 10pm.

Help spread the word -- LASC has scheduled an NRA FIRST Steps Orientation for Handgun class on September 29th.

This is a great class for those with little or no experience in handgun safety and shooting. It's also designed to take some of the apprehension away from those who may have an incomplete understanding or or familiarization with fi****ms.
