Long weekend of wrestling. We had some great wins and tough losses. So very proud of these ladies. As usual, I didn’t get a ton of pictures, but we made some great memories. These ladies inspire me every day, especially today.

So proud of our Los Alamos Girls!! We sent 8 athletes to the largest tournament in the state of New Mexico, The Conflict at Cleveland. After day one, we still had 5 girls in, a record for our team. We had 2 placers:

Wendy Sheppard, runner up at 152
Jade Blackhart, 4th at 145

We learned, we had successes and we had tough losses. A lot of growth from this group. Ready for a rest day and then back at it on Monday!

Wonderful performance by the Lady Toppers at the Bloomfield tournament this weekend! We had excellent performances from all of our girls. The girls came in 3rd as a team!

The Lady Toppers had a fantastic weekend at the Jaguar Invitational!! Jade Blackhart achieved her 100th career Varsity win and came in 1st place individually. The team came in 2nd place overall. Other individual finishes include Wendy Sheppard 1st place, Xylin Patterson 3rd, Sophia Pacheco 3rd, and Gala Nelson 3rd. We are so proud of these young ladies and the amazing humans they are growing into!!

Los Alamos wrestler Jade Blackhart represented New Mexico this last weekend at Fargo. It was a great tournament for her. We are looking forward to her senior season!

Team New Mexico was well represented on the girls side of “Fargo” this weekend. We had athletes competing from 7 different high schools from across the state. We are very proud of the growth that we saw throughout camp and this weekend! We even had a few athletes try out beach wrestling! We look forward to what these girls do in the future on the college and high school wrestling scene. A big thank you to all of the parents, coaches and practice partners of these young ladies. We couldn’t do it without you.
