Pajarito Precision Rifles I went to Gunsmithing school at Trinidad State Jr. College where I had many great instructors.

When I graduated the 2 year Associates program I was excepted in to the Brownells Institute at Trinidad (3rd Year) led by the great Thomas Gonzalez (Speedy).

I finally have all the componants to build the "Flagship" Pajarito Precision Rifle!

Starts with a Pajarito Precision Shrike Ti!
Thanks to Precision for building these actions for me! It is getting a Diamond fluted Bartlein 5R 8 twist tube at 22" chambered in 7PRC throated for the 195 Elite Hunters from Berger. It will be getting a Bix'N Andy TacSport ProX trigger.

This will all be dropped into the beautiful light weight HNT26 folding carbon fiber chasis from MDT Chassis Systems

Topped off with the amazing Z5i+ 5-25X56 BT from SWAROVSKI OPTIK Hunting these scopes are crystal clear and function great!!

This rifle will also have a custom sizing die made with custom ground reamers from JGS, as well as a in line bullet seating die made with the same reamer that chambers the barrel.

These are going to be the complete package for handloaders! Ready for anything!

With these I should be able to verify a load, load up 100 or so to have on hand for future hunts and shooting.

I finally finished this Birdseye Maple Sako my JD Kinny (dad) started when he was in school.
Also included are a couple pics of a Tiger Maple stock on a factory re*****on 700 he started in school.

1st Rifle 22-250
Action: Sako L579 custom round top
Barrel: Douglas Premium 1:14
SCOPE: Leupold
Stock: HIGHLY figured birdseye maple from a semi-inlet. This started with a rough shape, I did all the fine tuning. Shadow line cheekpiece and all. I also Inlet this rifle with scrapers to get a tight fit metal to wood.
The barrel was turned from a 1.250" straight blank, threaded and chambered by my dad when he was still at Trinidad State Jr College.
I did all the metal polishing and sent it to Precision Bluing for the final touch! I am soo happy to have this rifle done! I have been looking at the stock for far too many years!
I will post groups as soon as I get a chance to work up some loads!

Best one yet! I just finished an F-Open Rig for Ed Harrach. He will be taking this rifle to the Berger Southwest Nationals in February.

Stock: Laminated Maple/Padauk/walnut with great figure! with carbon fiber stringers by Southwest Actionworks from Dennis Ray. Gorgeous stock!
Barrel: Krieger 1.250" Chambered in 6.5/7PRC
Trigger: Jewell
Scope: NightForce
Tuner: Eric Cortina's EC Tuner V2

Gunsmith: Pajarito Precision Rifles!
I chambered and threaded the muzzle for an EC Tuner. Tuned the fire control system. Inlayed carbon fiber in the rail pocket, shaped some aspects of the stock, cut in and inlet a Mcgee adjustable cheekpiece, shaped and jeweled the RAD recoil system, precision bedded in bags and level the way it will be on the line, and topped it all off with an automotive clear coat for a durable slick finish!

Precision Bedding
This is an F-Open rig I am getting ready for Ed Harrach to shoot at The Berger Southwest Nationals in February. I was taught this method by Speedy when I was at Trinidad State Jr College. When bedding you should let the compound cure with the rifle in the same position you will be shooting. I use the same method to bed all rifle to prevent introducing stress in to the action.
