HYROX #2 — Done.
February 21, 2026 — Las Vegas.
My first HYROX singles race is complete. Great experience.
Training for HYROX is probably the training I look forward to the most. It keeps my strength and conditioning honest. If I want to be competitive, I have to stay disciplined with recovery, supplementation, and nutrition.
Most challenging parts of this race:• Burpees• Lunges• Wall balls
Easiest part: none.
At almost 42, the question now is: how fast can I get, and how long can I maintain it? The next goal is to keep improving my times and see if I can hold a high level of performance all the way to 50.
