Harbor View Recreation Club

HVRC is a community-based organization created to organize recreational & social activities for the Harbor View community.

Harbor View is a unique community in Fairfax County, VA that is secluded, yet readily accessible. The community is situated in an area rich in history and set in natural beauty. One of the community's many assets is Massey Creek, a navigable waterway with access to the Occoquan and Potomac Rivers. HVRC is a community-based organization founded by the Harbor View Citizen's Association in the 1970's

to protect and maintain the Massey Creek channel and the neighborhood marina. Along with this mandate, HVRC was created to organize recreational and social activities and to act as a "Village Center" for the Harbor View community. HVRC is an independent, nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation as recognized by the Commonwealth of Virginia and other governing bodies. HVRC activities are centered around the 5 acre community marina, which is owned by the corporation. Membership in HVRC is only available to residents of the Harbor View neighborhood. Harbor View 4th of July Fireworks Show!!!

We are BACK & just in time to celebrate our Nation's 250th Anniversary!!!

Roo & Shannon will be hosting a fireworks show for the neighborhood; so, come on over and celebrate the 4th of July together.

SHOW DETAILS:
When: Saturday, July 4th
Time: Setting up at 8:15pm
Show Starts approx. 8:45pm
Where: Anita & Crosby...(aka Tim & Erin's house)

What to bring: Something to sit on (i.e. camping chair, blanket, etc.) & BYOB

SUPPORTING/DONATING TO THE SHOW:
If you would like to support the show, we would gladly accept any type of monetary donations.

Unfortunately, we CAN NOT accept donations of actual fireworks.

Please note that we buy very specific types of fireworks to try and ensure the upmost safety possible for the show. No additional or outside fireworks will be permitted.

The HVRC Annual Meeting is this Friday at 7:00 PM, but please consider attending the Mason Neck Citizens Association meeting on Tuesday, April 28 at Gunston Hall at 7:00. Two Harbor View residents are seeking nomination to the MNCA Board of Directors. 🗳️

Marina workday is this Saturday, April 25 at 9 am! We need volunteers to assist with grounds cleanup, pressure washing, and other projects. Additionally, we will be removing and disposing of the metal storage shed and contents located near the pavilion. 🔨🛠️🗑️🪏
