Loretto Lady Mustangs Volleyball is proud to welcome Miya-Cole "MC" Brown as Assistant Coach!
MC joins the Loretto coaching staff following a five-year collegiate volleyball career, playing at the University of North Alabama, Lee University and Mississippi University for Women. She also played softball for two years at MUW. She graduated this year with a degree in Nursing.
A 2021 graduate of Summertown High School, MC was integral in the back-to-back volleyball state championships won in 2019 and 2020. She was also named State MVP in 2020.
MC on joining the Black and Gold: "Lawrence County athletics helped shape who I am, and I'm honored to give back to the community that gave so much to me. I'm excited to join Coach Nick and help continue the tradition of Mustang volleyball."
Coach Nick Quillen on welcoming MC, "MC brings a love and passion for volleyball that was always evident in the way she played. We are excited for her to bring that same passion and wealth of knowledge to Loretto Volleyball. With her playing experience she will also be a great role model and relatable asset for our athletes!"
