Saint Francis won nine NEC Championships in 10 years, but one season the team was perfect with an 18-0 mark in NEC play and ranking 13th in NCAA Division I in scoring. Led by NEC Player of the Year Beth Swink and NEC Defensive Player of the Year Tonjee Ward, the Red Flash played its best game of the 12 trips in the NCAA Tournament against Purdue that season.
