Please listen and share!!! The latest episode of the La Equine Council Podcast is up. If you aren't listening to podcasts on your smartphone or don't know how, you can listen on our website with the link provided. This is a really important one, as will be the next several. Chase A. Williams is a Tennessee Walking Horse trainer and talks with us about the Prevent All Soring Tactics Act currently in the legislature. While being for the prevention of soring horses on its face seems obvious, this bill is really a Trojan Horse with language in it that definitely opens the door to calling ”all riding of horses criminally abusive” as stated by the head USDA Veterinarian in charge of this stuff. We really need you all to start paying attention and lending your support or we'll go the way of SeaWorld and the Circus. Please take the time to listen to this in its entirety, as this is a discussion about the very future or end of our ability to enjoy our beloved horses. I know legislation isn't sexy or fun, but it's incredibly important and not nearly enough horse people are paying attention to these attempts to kill our industry under the guise of helping the horse.
