To dispel rumors floating around:
The Town has received the rulings on the two remaining Costco lawsuits.
We are gratified that the Judge determined the Town’s compliance with CEQA and state planning and zoning laws was sufficient and that no portion of the EIR needs to be revised. This means the Town's traffic study was upheld by the Court and no additional traffic work is required.
The court disagreed with the Town’s interpretation of its zoning code to allow parking on the residentially zoned parcels that Costco owns. However, the Town believes the inconsistency the court identified can be easily addressed and the project does not need to be substantially further delayed.

This year’s Loomis Townsmen Car Show will be held Saturday July 17th, 2021 at the Loomis Train Depot. Will have over 250 beautiful classic cars to view. Shaved ice for the kids at Ace Hardware! ☀️

This years event will be held Saturday May 22, 2021 at the Loomis Train Depot. We will have lots of beautiful classic cars to view, along with some wonderful people to talk cars with. There will be as always a huge raffle and lots of prizes to win.

After four fulfilling years I’ve decided to take a break from elected office and not run for re-election this year. Candidly I plan to focus on family and career. I’ll continue to be involved with making Loomis a better place to live, work and visit...More on that to come.

Huge thank you to all the good people of Loomis for allowing me the distinguished honor to represent them.

I’m optimistic that the town’s best years are yet to come...
