First one is in the books.

Six PRs in our first meet, and Faith Love improved by 3:24 from last season’s opener! A strong start to the 2026 cross country season and a reflection of this group’s hard work.

We opened at the Falcon Run Invitational at Maumelle Charter:

Logan Hooten — 21:14 | PR
Orlando Torres — 21:09 | 7 seconds off a PR
Blayne Billingsley — 25:25 | PR
Wiley Eaves— 26:20 | PR
Brody Norwood — 27:09 | PR
Faith Love — 31:07 | 3:24 faster than last season’s opener
Kendall Eaves — 32:53 | PR
Zachary Richardson — DNF; on pace for a PR before a knee injury

We’re not where we want to be yet, but this group competed, learned, and got a glimpse of what’s ahead.

Lonoke High School girls, we are just one runner short to compete for team awards! Our existing runners have put in so much effort, and they deserve the chance to represent Lonoke as a complete team.

Right now, our four incredible runners can only compete individually, but not for the overall team standings. Cross-country scoring is about the lowest total points from a team's top five finishers. Without that crucial 5th number to complete the equation, we can't be officially counted toward team trophies, titles, or collective recognition.

Simply crossing the finish line as our 5th runner secures a complete team score and gives Lonoke a real shot at being on the leaderboard! No experience is needed. Just spirit and a willingness to push yourself.

Thank you Lonoke Cross Country for seven FUN years of running with you!! I have enjoyed each year and every runner. Thankful for the seven years of memories made and the opportunities given. Thank you to all the parents and teachers that supported! Thank you Autumn Stuart, Jillian Shelton and Sissy Fletcher for your extra support. Thank you Coach Eagle for making Lonoke athletics great!
