It’s not just a warm-up…

Footwork is where everything begins—alignment, strength, and breath.

On the Reformer, Wunda Chair, and Tower, each intentional movement:

Builds strength in the muscular system
Supports flow within the lymphatic system
Uses breath to regulate the nervous system

This is why we don’t rush it.

Post-op went amazing and PT is off to a great start 🙏🏽
Taking it one day at a time, staying consistent with my exercises + light upper body & core Pilates.
Almost halfway there… feeling stronger every day 💫
Plus, soaking up all the puppy love 🐾 and extra attention from my hubby 🤍

Yesterday I underwent knee surgery after being diagnosed with a meniscus root tear. While this journey hasn’t been easy, I’m incredibly grateful for everything that led me here — including the strength I built beforehand.
Even leading up to surgery, I was still able to attend the Balanced Body Tour in New York — a reminder that we are capable of so much, even in challenging moments.
Through Pilates, I focused on strengthening my glutes, hamstrings, quads, and core — building a foundation that I know will support my recovery and healing process.
Now, I’m taking it one day at a time. In two weeks, I begin rehab, and you already know Pilates will be part of my journey back — with intention, patience, and respect for my body.
This is not a setback… it’s a setup for a stronger return. 💛

I spent the weekend continuing my Pilates education with Balanced Body 50th year Anniversary Tour, in Lincoln Center, NYC— Celebrating five decades of innovation in movement education. Thank you , Ken Endelman & Joy Puleo.
Over the weekend I participated in sessions including:
• Our Dynamic Trunk with Irene Dowd
• Reform Your Reformer: Tips for the Ideal and Challenge Exercises that We All Need Help On
• Hand It to Me – Connecting to the Spine
• Fascia Release and Joint Mobility Strategies for the Lumbar Spine, Pelvis, Hip and Knee
• Reformer and Tower Combo Class
• Arm Spring Power: From Supine to Standing
Each workshop deepened my understanding of how the trunk, spine, fascia, and limbs integrate to support stronger, more intelligent movement.
•Konenctions on the Mat
Continuing education like this allows me to keep refining how I teach and support my clients in building strength, resilience, and longevity in their bodies. Grateful for the opportunity to keep learning and growing in this field.
