Explore the water with canoe, kayak, and paddleboard rentals provided by Paddleboard Orlando, or unwind on land with over 2,000 square feet of riverside recreation. From private cabanas to year-round events, we offer something for everyone—with sustainability, education, and art at the heart of it all. Our Mission
Wekiva Island is a family-owned and operated business. When we purchased this incredible property, we wanted our business to reflect what was important to us. Because of that, Wekiva Island is driven by three pillars: Sustainability, Education and Art. We are dedicated to leading the way as a green business, sharing what’s remarkable about this location with our patrons and imparting more beauty into the world than we found. Kick off Halloween morning, October 31, on the Wekiva River with our Halloween Parade Paddle & Costume Contest!

Dress up in your scariest, silliest or most creative costume and join us for a family-friendly paddle to Wekiwa Springs State Park and back.

Launching begins at 10:30AM, with costume judging from 10:30AM–11:15 AM. Prizes will be awarded for Best Costume, Most Creative Costume and Best Group Theme!

Bring your own board and costume and it’s FREE to attend, or reserve a hard board rental for $25 in advance.
