That’s a wrap for Adventure Camp! We are so thankful to have had such a fun week with all of you out here. If this was your first time at Adventure Camp, welcome — and if you’ve attended Adventure Camp before, welcome back! Every Sunday morning, we have church here at WaterStone, where we continue to pour into the kiddos because we believe that leading kids doesn’t just stop after one week of camp. It’s an ongoing journey of encouragement, growth, and discipleship — one we’re committed to walking alongside you as parents in every season.

We are so thankful for each one of you guys and we hope to see you at church, but if not see you next year! Also a big shout out to our volunteers who make this possible each and every year — we are so thankful for you!

Today a total of 69 campers made the decision to follow Jesus and all campers were able to hear the gospel during lesson time today!

Learning about who Jesus is to them doesn’t just stop today — it is a lifetime commitment. We encourage you to talk about this decision with your camper — ask them who Jesus is to them or what they learned at Adventure Camp today.

Adventure Camp Week 2, Day 3 is here, and we are excited to see how the Lord is going to move.

Today, the campers and volunteers will be presented with the gospel. Whether they have heard the gospel before or this is their very first time hearing it, this moment can be life-changing for them. Take the time to pray for the campers and volunteers today. If you're not sure how to pray for them, here is a prayer you can quietly pray in your heart or speak out loud over them:

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for the gift of your gospel, through Jesus Christ. We praise you for all that you are doing throughout Adventure Camp this week. We pray for the campers and volunteers who will hear the gospel message, whether for the first time or as a reminder. Open their minds and soften their hearts to hear this news. We pray that distractions will not hinder them from understanding the gospel and that they will be able to experience your grace, love, and joy.

We ask this in your Holy name, amen!

Smiles are everywhere!

Week 2, Day 2 is done, and we are so excited to see how God will continue to move throughout the rest of the week. Today, the campers learned that the world is broken—and that the only one who can truly heal it is Jesus.

Campers also had the option to participate in a variety of sports, including karate, soccer, volleyball, and recreation, as well as enjoy the craft of the day, build relationships, and engage in teaching times designed to provide foundational life lessons.

We can’t wait to see you tomorrow for Day 3 of Adventure Camp!

That’s a wrap of Week 2 Day 1! 🚧

These kids are full of energy and eager to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

From crafts to worship, their enthusiasm shines through in every part of the day. During lesson time, we explored how prayer is one of the most powerful ways we can build one another up. The kids learned about Nehemiah—how he prayed to God, and how God gave him favor to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem and bring hope to people who were discouraged and heartbroken over their city.

Just like Nehemiah we have the power to influence those around us with just our words and how we can shift the course of direction by building others up. God is the ultimate builder, and He’s given us everything we need—through prayer, encouragement, and faith—to build up not only others but also ourselves.

Today, wrapped up the first week of Adventure Camp! Thank you to all the volunteers that eagerly and lovingly served the kids this year and for your hearts to serve.

Each one of the kids, have been a gift and full of life. Today they were able to participate in a dance-off, participate in crafts, games, worship, lesson time, and sports.

We are so excited to see what the Lord is going to do through the second week!

Within the walls of WaterStone Church, hundreds of kids have heard the name of Jesus. Today, in particular, they were presented with the Gospel — and each camper had the opportunity to decide whether they wanted to invite Jesus into their hearts. They were encouraged to ask questions, talk about their decision, and take a step forward in their journey with Christ.

Now that the campers know who Jesus is, many are left with a sense of curiosity and wonder about what He means to them personally. As a church, let’s pray for these campers — for those in whom a seed was planted today, and for those who are continuing to grow in their faith.

Thank you to the leaders who contributed to this camp. You’ve made an eternal difference.
