⏰ Stamper Park Family Aquatic Center - Delayed Opening ⏰

The Stamper Park Family Aquatic Center will open today, Sunday, Sept. 6, at 1:30 p.m. to accommodate staffing needs.

The facility will continue to be open on Saturdays and Sundays through the end of September.

Reminders for Labor Day🌟

Broughton Recreation Center, Paula Martin Jones Recreation Center, and Green Street Recreation Center will be closed Monday, Sept. 7 in observance of Labor Day.

Recreation centers will reopen with regular hours on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Splash pads will remain open!

The TREEmendous Tree Giveaway Initiative is giving away 150 trees on September 12 and 19 at the Great Lawn at the Longview Arboretum and Nature Center!

Choose from 5 tree species, available first come, first served. Once they’re gone, they’re gone!

- Use the West Entrance in the Convention Complex parking lot

Mondays, Sept. 14 & 28 | 10 a.m.
Unwind with calming tea, a relaxing face mask, and more!

Arts & Crafts
Every Thursday | 10:30 a.m.
Get creative with a fun, hands-on craft!

Both activities are available to Green Street Recreation Center members, with the class and supplies included with membership.

If you are 55+ we'd love for you to join us for these great events. A GSRC membership is only $15 annually. Membership is also included as part of our Universal Plan, which provides access to the Broughton Recreation Center and the Paula Martin Jones Recreation Center for just $50 annually.

Green Street Recreation Center members are invited to join us for Chair Yoga every Tuesday from 10–11 a.m. throughout September and October. This gentle class is a great way to stretch, move and relax — all from the comfort of a chair.
