One of our favorite summer traditions? Umpiring non-league games for the Cowlitz Black Bears!🐻⚾️

It’s been a highlight for the Lower Columbia Umpires Association over the past several years, and this season is no different. Huge thanks to the Black Bears for letting us be part of the action!

Here are our two awesome crews from Friday and Saturday night's games — representing professionalism, consistency, and a love for the game. 👏

In a little over two months we will be stepping out on the diamonds for start of the 2024 high school baseball/softball seasons.

Do you love baseball/softball and wish you could learn what it takes to make the tough call? Do you think have what it takes to be an umpire? It all starts at the high school and youth levels and working your way through the ranks.

LCUA is a well-respected umpiring association. Being an umpire allows you to give back, keeps you active, involved in sports and you get paid. As mentioned above, we are about two months away which means we will start getting ready with training sessions before that. Classroom and on-field training provided.

We are seeking interested individuals in the Southwest Washington and Lower Columbia area. Your journey starts by visiting the website or contacting an LCUA representative to get more information.
