The Lumberjacks sent 7 boys to the State Tournament.

No podium finishes this year — but make no mistake, earning a spot on that mat is no small accomplishment. These young men battled all season, put in the work when no one was watching, and represented our program with toughness and pride.

You don’t just show up at State.
You chop your way there. 🪓

Proud of these boys for competing on the biggest stage. The experience gained will fuel what’s next.

Five additional Wrestlling Jacks earned spots for the WIAA Mat Classic ###VII at the Tacoma Dome on 20-21 February 2026.

Kaeden Beck (132), Richard Ramirez (144), Tyler Silvia (150), Jaxson Rivenes (215), and Angel Gallardo (285) all defeated EVCO 2A opponents at the District 4 Crossovers held at WF West HS on Wednesday 2/11/26 to earn trips to the Mat Classic.

They'll join teammates Sixto Soto (165) and Tyrese Mehrer (157), who had previously qualified for the state tournament by way of their top 2 finishes at the recent GSHL 2A tournament.
