North Beach Barbell North Beach Barbell Club is located inside AdventureFit NMB. Located in Longs off Hwy 9 E in the Parkway Plaza. We are a USAW recognized club.

North Beach Barbell is the only USAW recognized weightlifting club in the North Myrtle Beach area. This group is open to anyone and focuses primarily on improving the technical ex*****on of the sn**ch, clean & jerk and related lifts. Our Weightlifting program will not only include instruction and programming on Olympic lifting but we will also emphasize on the exercises and accessory exercises tha

t assist with them, like squats, deadlifts, and the presses. This program is intended to supplement your regular training regimen and improve explosiveness, strength, and coordination in addition to improving comfort with the lifts. The barbell club sessions are Mon - Thursday at 6:30pm, (additional times on weekends also). Each session last for 60-90 minutes each. Programming is focused on the needs of the group, along with necessary modifications for individual athletes, and varies weekly. In each session athletes can expect to sn**ch or clean & jerk, perform dynamic pulling drills, and perform skill transfer drills and other supplemental exercises for the Olympic lifts.
