Congratulations Ari Sluis for being selected for the All-Western Mass 2nd Team! Ari had an awesome season as a defensive specialist for us. Her serving and defense were integral to the success of the team this season. Ari ended the season with a team leading 72 aces. She also had 14 assists, 115 digs, and served for 264 points. We are going to miss you Ari!

Congratulations Tess Tonsing on being selected for All-Western Mass 2nd Team! Tess had a great season as our starting libero. She had 70 aces, 32 assists, 139 digs, and served for 213 points. Tess will be a captain going into the 2025-26 season and we are looking forward to what she can do next year!

Congratulations Sydney Rome on making All-Western Mass 1st Team! Sydney led Western Mass in kills with 277. She also had 71 aces, 40 assists, 220 digs, and served for a Longmeadow record 268 points. She is going to end her career with the most points served (688) and aces (225) in Longmeadow Volleyball history. She is also ending her career with a whopping 546 kills and 628 digs. Sydney had an all-time historic career for us and we will miss you so much!!

Congratulations to Angela Humble for making All-Western Mass 1st Team! Angela had a fantastic junior season amassing 245 kills, 45 aces, and 203 digs. She is a captain on our team and a defensive leader. We are looking forward to how big of an impact Angela will have next year!

Congratulations to Adele Accelus for making the All-State Team for Division 2! Adele was an absolute force at the net, both offensively and defensively. Adele was able to rack up 185 kills, 25 blocks, and an incredible 0.419 hitting percentage. Adele is also a senior captain and we will definitely miss you next year!

Congratulations to Chloe Scott for making the All-State Team for Division 2! Chloe was the leader of our offense this year. She was able to rack up 619 assists, 85 kills, and 66 aces this year as a sophomore! We are looking forward to see what Chloe can accomplish in the future.

Sorry about the late timing on this post, but our amazing season came to an end this Saturday against an incredible Oliver Ames team in a 3-1 loss. This season was nothing to scoff at and may be one of the best seasons in the history of Longmeadow Girls’ Volleyball. We had a final record of 21-1 and worked hard to get to where we ended. We went undefeated against Western Massachusetts competition and in league play. We battled against the best of the best all year and routinely came out on top. This was a historic season with some historic milestones reached by individual players as well. Stay tuned for separate posts for individual players and awards!
