Save Wolf Swamp Fields We love Wolf Swamp Fields. Soccer, lacrosse, after-prom parties, more. Don't let the Town of Longmeadow take our fields for the new DPW site. Thank you!

According to the Town of Longmeadow website, "Our newest facility, Wolf Swamp Field is located in the east side of town. This area includes 18 acres of playing fields." The fields are used for in-town and multi-area soccer, lacrosse, baseball, and other games and tournaments. LHS after-prom party is held there. The fields are very busy, and on the rare times when they are not, you're likely to see

someone flying a kite or tossing a ball with a child. The Town is now interested in using this site to locate its new DPW - buildings, equipment, trucks, traffic, fumes, and all. Save Wolf Swamp Fields wants to stop this project now! We care about our DPW - but we do not want it located on our town's Wolf Swamp Fields. We invite you to follow our page and get involved.

From youth sports leaders:
This effort started several years ago with a handful of dedicated parents looking to make our athletic fields and parking lot better and safer, and tomorrow we have the opportunity to approve and put in motion a full scale modernization of Wolf Swamp fields - our primary youth sports venue. It's been a long road, which included pivots and compromises to ensure that all constituencies were heard and included...tomorrow we can make it a reality. At Town Election, please vote YES on Question #1 for our new, improved, and safer Wolf Swamp fields and parking lot. If you have any questions on this important project, Longmeadow Parks & Recreation office welcomes your calls before voting. Thank you!
