The boys finished up the season on Monday 6AA sections at Blackberry Ridge in Sartell. Although none of us as individuals moved on to round two, the guys had to look good doing it with matching polos. Three of the Pillager boys golf team made it to round two and our guys will be cheering them on as they make a run at state. Congrats Riley Kramer, Parker Pallansch and Jackson Camacho! Hey Parents!!
Here is a great way to get kids out golfing for cheap!! It called Youth-on-Course and with a members fee of $49 it grants access to many courses for $5 a round or less for kids age 17 and under! Some courses around us that accept it—- our very own Long Prairie Country Club
Greystone in Sauk, The Vintage in Staples and more!! I have attached a map of the area with markers at courses. Check it out and get the kids outside this summer-golfing!

They also gain access to $5 simulator play and free lesson from golf pros at Golf Galaxy and Dicks house of sports.

Our annual chili feed is tomorrow from 5-7pm or until the chili is gone. It is again free will donation and all proceeds go to the golf team! Thanks for everyone’s support!! Hope to see you at the Long Prairie Country Club.

Congratulations to all of our raffle winners!! The drawing was held last Friday night at Charlotte Tavern. Thank you to everyone who bought tickets and all who donated to the raffle. It is because of you we can even have a season.

The boys played in their conference meet today at Tipsinah Mounds by Elbow Lake. The team finished 5th. None of our golfers finished in the top 6 for a medal but we did have some individual records set.

Anthony Lafreniere shot an 81 which is his lowest round in a meet, Broden Line shot an 86 which is also his lowest in a meet. Max Berscheid 83, Breckan Kobliska 90, Nick Biegler 92 and Finnley Grinstead 97

Some season highlights for the Wolves-
2 of our golfers earned all conference honors- congratulations to Max Berscheid who ranked 5th and Anthony Lafreniere who ranked 14th in the Quad County Conference. The top 15 golfers in the conference earn this honor.

The boys will compete in our Section 6AA event at Blackberry Ridge in Sartell on June 1st. There will be 16 teams at this is event and the competition is tough.
