Usually by now you would have seen us looking for and securing our sponsors for the upcoming season. As a team we have decided to take the year off and evaluate what we want to do. Are we going to stay in Slingshots, move to a different class or just step away from racing altogether? This is not something that came easily for us but seemed like the best time as all our safety equipment needs to be upgraded and our seat needs to be refitted. I (mom) cannot imagine a life without racing in it as it really brought us together as a family week after week since Brayden was 5 years old. Ultimately it is not my decision as I am not the driver. Football and academics is a big focus for Brayden right now we are 100% supportive of that. We cannot express the gratitude we have for all our sponsors over the years especially Sharky's who was with us from almost the beginning. We of course can't forget family and friends who have come out to watch us race, purchased shirts, sponsored races and understood the phrase "we can't, we are racing". Then there is Pop Pop who helped us throughout it all, we couldn't have done it without your help. No matter what the future holds racing is and always will have a special place in our hearts. Go fast or go home. 🏁
