This month’s musing is about RESPECT.

Respect is the ONLY currency that matters in the end. Money, power, beauty, etc. all serve towards it, but don’t guarantee it. Your closest loved ones and your enemies both seek it because with this currency:

- You can generate and maintain yourself
- While it helps, you don’t need a title or inheritance (both can be easily squandered) to accumulate it — only your character and actions
- Can’t be confiscated by anyone
- Can’t be stolen or lost, except by you yourself

However, once you lose someone’s respect, it is very hard to regain it. People with weak character will never seek to redeem themselves, but will succumb to blaming others, making excuses and spreading rumors.

If you change the angle of one strike in a combo, that makes it into a different combo. People often repeat their successful combos, but think about changing the angle and/or level of one of the strikes in it and you will become less predictible 👊🏼 ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
