At Shore House, we believe every milestone is worth celebrating — especially birthdays!

At the end of each month, we gather together to celebrate all of our members and staff who had a birthday that month. It’s more than cake and candles — it’s about friendship, connection, laughter, and reminding one another that you matter, you belong, and you are worth celebrating.

Congrats Bailey!

Meet Phenomenal Woman Under 40 honoree Bailey Taft. 💚✨

Bailey is the Program Director at Shore House and a lifelong community leader in Red Bank. From launching a youth sports charity in the 8th grade to being named a Delta Zeta 35 Under 35 honoree, Bailey has dedicated her life to service. Today, she empowers adults living with mental illness, leads state alumnae initiatives, and helps direct local impact grants with Impact100 Jersey Coast.

After weeks of unexpected challenges and emergency repairs, there was no better way to celebrate being back home than with our Welcome Back BBQ!

A huge thank you to Assemblywoman Margie Donlon for stopping by to welcome us back to our Clubhouse and celebrate this special moment with our members and staff. We are so grateful for your support!

Most of all, we are incredibly thankful for the Shore House community. From the very beginning, you showed up for us, supported us, and reminded us just how special this community truly is.

We’re home, we’re together, and we’re so excited for what’s ahead. Welcome back, Shore House members!

When a car crashed into our Shore House building on July 18, we never expected the challenge that followed—but our community showed us the incredible power of support.
Thank you to Brian Fitzgerald Arch + Design, Andy Pereira of Loyal Pear Group LLC, The City of Long Branch, NJ, and our incredibly generous donors and supporters, including BPC Food Pantry/ Backpack Crew , Grunin Foundation, H. Hovnanian Family Foundation, Stone Foundation of New Jersey, Mary Owen Borden Foundation, The Monmouth Park Charity Fund, and New Jersey Natural Gas.
Because of you, we were able to repair our Clubhouse, continue our mission, and welcome our members home.
We officially resumed normal programming on August 24, and now it’s time to celebrate! Join us for our Welcome Back BBQ on Friday, August 28 as we celebrate our reopening and thank everyone who stood by Shore House during this unexpected challenge.
We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you for believing in Shore House! 💙

Dolly Parton reminded us that even after the storm, there is always the possibility of a rainbow.

At Shore House, we know that mental health journeys can have difficult seasons. But we also know that no one should have to weather those storms alone. Community, connection, compassion, and hope can make all the difference.

Today, we remember Dolly for her incredible legacy of kindness, generosity, and reminding us to keep looking for the light.

Thank you, Dolly, for leaving the world a little brighter.

We are so thankful to the Mary Owen Borden Foundation for their generous support of Shore House during the past month.
Following the unexpected damage to our building, our team worked tirelessly to keep Shore House moving forward while emergency repairs were underway. Thanks to the generosity of foundations like the Mary Owen Borden Foundation, we were able to continue supporting our members through a period of tremendous uncertainty.

Shore House is incredibly grateful to the Stone Foundation of New Jersey for their generous support during a month that tested our organization in unexpected ways.
After our building sustained significant damage, we had to quickly adapt—finding temporary spaces, adjusting transportation, covering unexpected expenses, and finding ways to keep our members connected while repairs were underway.

The Stone Foundation of New Jersey helped us weather this challenging time and continue doing what we do best: building community and creating opportunities for people living with mental illness.
