Ocean Temp 68ºF

If you're wondering what conditions are looking like for the morning, the current forecast has winds out of the SOUTH at 16mph (w/ gusts to 23mph). For perspective, that will be roughly the same direction/tide as you see in this video but w/ the wind/chop, about 2x as hard.

So if everything stays as forecast, we're going to have a significant amount of chop out of the south & modify the direction/start/finish as conditions dictate...

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!!!

We're just a few days away from this year's LBOMS & as always, we couldn't pull this off without YOUR help 🙏 With that, we're still in need of some able-bodies to lend a hand on SUNDAY from 6-9am (or ANYWHERE in between...whether you can help for 30mins OR 3hrs, we appreciate ANY help we can get!).

All volunteers will also receive a race tank (SEE PIC) & if you can help AT ALL, please shoot me an e-mail & I'll send you the details:

100% of the proceeds from the race go towards safe-swim initiatives in The City of Long Branch, NJ & the more help we have, the smoother it runs.
