We received this invite in our email today. It goes against everything our fitness studio stands for.

There shall be no influencers, no cameras on the floor, no stopping mid lift to pose. (shudders at the thought).

Just good, fun workouts with great coaches and a welcoming atmosphere.

I started last week introducing you to my partner (life & business) Justin Simon, and since I like symmetry - allow me to share a little bit about myself today.

Hailing from Michigan with an almost 7-year pit stop in Las Vegas followed by a matching 7-year layover in Hermosa Beach, living in Long Beach is the first I’ve felt at home since I left the Midwest.

When we say community is important to us, it’s not lip-service.

Since 2020 we’ve coordinated and hosted a bi-weekly produce give at our house. Justin is actively involved in several non-profit boards, and once a week you can find me just down the street from Live Long at The Little Lion Foundation caring for kittens and cats.

I don’t share that for kudos (that’s what having the world’s sweetest mother-in-law is for), but to say that we mean it.

-We mean it that we will build community you can connect to.
-We mean it that you will feel seen and supported.
-We mean what we say, period.

As previously promised, we'll continue to introduce you to our team over the next several weeks.

And then, we get to meet YOU! Who we’re doing all of this for 💙

Meet the people behind Live Long, AKA, us!

The brains and the brawn behind our business is my incredible other half and native Philadelphian (go Birds!), Justin Simon. While we’re both transplants, we have planted deep roots here in Long Beach and only plan to leave should our house - currently three miles from ocean - fall into the water. Even then, we’ll probably just buy a boat 🛶.

We’d long hoped to channel our partnership into a business venture and when this idea crystallized, we knew this could really be something.

There is no greater joy than bringing this concept to life with my best friend.

But you won’t have to take my word for it.

Take a class with us and you’ll see first-hand what’s it like to be in his orbit. As encouraging as he is sarcastic, funny as he is kind, thoughtful as he is direct, they truly broke the mold the day this one came into the world two months early. SUCH an overachiever 😉 Which works well for me...most of the time.

This hit us right in the feels. Our good friend Courtney from Colorado reached a huge accomplishment this week. But more than the accomplishment is the mentality. We couldn't have said it better ourselves. Read her story and follow her lesson.

Show up. Keep challenging yourself. Your progress won't reveal itself all at once, but it will show. And you will have earned that feeling that Courtney had this week.
