Huge shoutout to our Girls Division for winning the Middle School and High School Club Tier 1 National Championship in Salt Lake City, Utah a few weeks ago. This makes 3 in a row for our high school girls. They are the first 3-peat National Champions.

This was the very first year for our middle school girls. They've never played a game of 15s rugby before. Their very first game was on Day 1 of the tournament. It helps when you have to scrimmage against the high school girls at practice. They were battle tested and ready to go from the start. Thank you to the coaches and admins for giving up your time to guide and prepare our kids. Thank you to the parents for trusting the process and having faith in our staff.

Congrats again to the girls.

We've been occupied with our girls in the Women's Rugby World Cup. But we want to take a moment to congratulate Belmont Shore Youth Rugby Club's first MLR draft pick - IEREMIA IEREMIA. Ieremia or "iele" came to the US from New Zealand to pursue a football career. While he was here, he joined the Belmont U18 Boys for his senior season while football took a break due to covid. Even then, we knew rugby would be in his future.

After a few years of football at Cal Berkeley, he found his way back to the rugby pitch his senior year and became the starting #8 for the Cal Bears rugby team. They would go on to become the 2025 NCAA Men's D1 Rugby National Champions. Shortly after, Iele graduated with his bachelor's degree. Congrats on all of your achievements Iele. We are beyond proud of you and will be supporting you through your journey at the next level.

Congratulations to our very own for being selected to play in the USA Mens U19’s team competing in Mexico. Brayden has played for Belmont since the u10’s and has established himself as being one of our MVP’s in the U18’s First XV 2024. Brayden has recently been playing his Rugby in College internationally at in Wales where he continues to develop his play at high levels.

We are all Proud of you and best of luck in Mexico.
