We also offer special classes for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, church groups, and other youth groups if local COVID requirements can be met. Our head coach is Janet Dykman, 3X Olympian, 4X Gold and 2X Silver medalist at the Pan American Games, '95 Field Archery Champion and has a
lso won the National Archery Target Championship. Wendy Whalen is a National Judge Level 3, World Archery Continental Judge, Level 2 instructor, 2018 Traditional National Champion, and recurve archer.
*Due to COVID-19 we are currently working with local Health Department guidelines and programs have been adapted. Youth training program are designed to provide practice opportunities for archers in various session which will continue their training and prepare them for state ranking & state championship tournaments, as well as the National Tournament series. Training programs consist of sessions based on scoring skills, different distance opportunities, tournament rules as keys to utilize, shooting under time in the various circumstances, shooting with COVID mask protocols, endurance training, mental discipline and mental training, goal setting and more. Training sessions can be found at the Shoot Out charity series, C.O.R.R., CA Beach Cup, California Classic 1440, Desert Open, and the Duel in the Desert.
