Bear River Archers is a 501c3 archery club on the Long Beach Peninsula in Washington state. Our range is at the end of 85th off Sandridge Road, Long Beach, WA.

We host several shoots and other events throughout the year.

This just for fun shoot is for skill improvement and bragging rights, at our newly NFAA certified "indoor" range. Just like many Washington clubs, indoor is deemed shooter is under a cover.

We feature both Vegas and 5-Spot games with QR code to the electronic scorecard & directions or paper scorecards & directions under the club house awyning in the "take one" bins

Not a member, not a problem just message us and we'll pair you up with one as their guest to give the club a try.

No bow, not a problem we have a selection of bows to try out during that visit. You then can go to a local retailer knowing what poundage you want and that you have a place to regularly shoot

Just in case someone was waiting to join at the March monthly meeting, it has been moved to Saturday March 14th at 9am.

JOIN NOW and you'll be in for a special treat as we're also having our annual member cookout, giving out hunting trophies and other annual awards.

No worries if you can't make that date, just send us a message of when you can meet up at the range.

The prize for the month-long January shoot is $10 off the June membership renewal for any member that enters four scorecards (electronic or paper) of any game. Yes, it should be weekly but weather happens

ANIMAL
Our newest game to open is ANIMAL on the Eastern unit ( #15 to #28) that could be as little as 14 arrows at the 3D targets.

HUNTER
The black-faced targets on the Eastern unit ( #15 to #28) with 4 arrows per target

FIELD
The white-faced targets on the easier Western unit ( #1 to #14) with 4 arrows per target

VEGAS
On the target range at 20 yards using 30 arrows at the multi-colored cover

5 SPOT
On the target range at 20 yards using 60 arrows at the blue colored cover

600
On the target range at 60, then 50, and lastly 40 yards with 20 arrows shot at each of the very large 122cm targets

So be sure to come to the range to WIN and remember every game you play helps the club by knocking down the trail weeds, so please come and HAVE FUN !!!

"Beach ARCHERY Bonanza" events for 2026 are set. Your registration fee covers any or all of the five courses we offer, from 40 unmarked 3D targets, 600/900 outdoor target, to "indoor" 5-spot/Vegas, to field units of both field & hunter. Our range covers 28 acres and is on the Long Beach Peninsula of Washington.

Become a member for $30 individual or $40 family, and get year-around access to the range, from dawn to dusk, plus $10 off "Beach ARCHERY Bonanza" registration and ability to participate in our various month long shoots for non-monetary prizes, awards and recognition

ZOMBIES needed ...

Bear River Archers needs 14 zombies (or Halloween creatures) to cover their 3'x3' targets for a fun shoot. Artists submission from public and members can win non-monitary awards or prizes, plus be honored in our monthly newsletter that is posted to our 500+ group members

If you'd like to make a submission, please use white fabric and a black permanent marker. If you need fabric, just message me but any old bedsheet will work great. All submissions are due by noon on September 26th to give me time to outline the "vitals area" in red permanent marker and mark the "critical hit" with a circular target. Just message me and I'll arrange pick-up of the submission.

Also if you're not a member but want to shoot ZOMBIES, there's are three options

- Ask a friend that is a member to be their guest
- Message me and I'll pair you up with a member
- Come to our open-to-public PUMPKIN SHOOT on November 1st, from 10am to noon

Despite gray skies and it also being Rod Run weekend, we had another great turnout for our free archery lessons at the Bear River Archers range in Long Beach. This will be our last free class for this year as we head into the Fall and Winter months but stay tuned for more fun shoots from our club including a Zombie shoot for the month of October!! 🧟🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️

FREE ARCHERY LESSONS FOR ALL AGES!
Interested in learning about archery? We've got you covered!

Come on out to the Bear River Archers range (at the end of 85th Street off of Sandridge Rd, next to Lone Fir Cemetery in Long Beach) this Saturday at 10 am.

We'll provide the equipment and instruction, you just need to show up! Archery is suitable for all ages and is a great family sport. (All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian during their time at the range). We have bows that can adjust down to very low poundage for easier shooting and we have both left and right-handed bows. What are you waiting for?!
