The 4th Annual Gerrin Hagen Memorial Hockey Day is next Saturday, April 11th at the Long Beach Ice Arena!

Raffles, 50/50, Chuck A Puck, Bubble Ball Races, Face Painting and more!

Join us for a full day of hockey fun for the entire family while honoring Gerrin’s true spirit of kindness, compassion and friendship.

Two exciting games will be played this year, at 2:30 PM the Nassau County Police Department Hockey Team will take on the FDNY Hockey Team and at 5:00 PM the Toronto Fire Hockey Club will face The Long Beach Guardians. The games will be live streamed by Long Island Sports Network.

Congratulations to LB's very own Charlie McAvoy and team USA!!! 🇺🇸 The 2026 U.S. Olympic Men’s Hockey Team just etched their names into history.

Through every hit, every blocked shot, every overtime shift — they wore the crest with pride and played for something bigger than themselves. Speed, toughness, brotherhood… this was American hockey at its absolute best.

From the first puck drop to the final horn, they proved the world what USA hockey is built on.

Congratulations to Long Beach! The Marines are your 2025-2026 Nassau County Varsity Champions! Long Beach took the three game series in just two with a thrilling 5-4 double overtime win on Wednesday over the reigning Nassau Champs, Bellmore-Merrick. 💙🏒🤍🏆

Save the Date!
The Long Beach Guardians will take the ice on February 22nd to play a charity hockey game against the NYPD Hockey Club. The event will begin at 2pm at the Long Beach Ice Arena.

All donations will go to the Pink Fund in honor of Krystal Strouse, who recently passed away from breast cancer. Krystal's son, PJ, plays on the Long Beach Lightning Hockey 13U team, coached by three of the Guardians players. The Pink Fund supports breast cancer patients in active treatment by helping cover essential living expenses.
