Water safety is important 🐠 Drowning is the #1 cause of death in children four and under. “Everyone” is watching until it’s time to start the grill, grab a drink from the cooler, go the bathroom, etc. Accidents happen quickly, making life jackets and “water watchers” essentials for young children around any body of water.

🌊☀️ AUGUST SWIM LESSONS ARE NOW LIVE! ☀️🌊

Registration for our August session is officially open and spots will fill quickly! 🏊‍♀️💙

📅 Session Dates:
August 10th – September 4th

👶 Ages:
6 months – 10 years

🏊 Types of Lessons Offered:
✔️ Survival Swim (Swim-Float-Swim)
✔️ Intro to Stroke Technique

⏰ Lesson Length:
10 minute private lessons
Monday through Friday

💲 Cost:
$120 per week
(This includes your $25 weekly deposit.)

❓ How long should my child enroll?
💧 Children under 5 years old: Minimum of 4 weeks recommended
💧 Children over 5 or children who have completed a survival program before: Minimum of 2 weeks recommended

These lessons are designed to build confidence, teach life-saving water safety skills, and help children become stronger swimmers in and around the water. 🌊✨

We have limited openings remaining for June, and if you’re hoping to get your child in the water before July, this is your last chance! ⏳

📅 Available times and dates are listed in the flyer—be sure to grab a spot before they’re gone!

A quick reminder for planning:

Children 5 and older (and those who have completed the swim-float-swim program) need a minimum of 2 weeks of lessons
Children under 5 need at least 4 weeks of lessons

We are so excited at Tiny Swimmers to welcome our Caiden’s Corner scholarship recipients into the water! 🏊‍♀️💙

Seeing these kids get the opportunity to learn, grow, and build life-saving water safety skills is what it’s all about. This is what supporting our community looks like—coming together to give every child a chance to feel confident and safe in the water.

We’re so grateful to be a small part of their journey and can’t wait to watch them make waves! 🌊✨

Our Spectrum Swim scholarship winners have officially been selected, and all parents have been contacted.

We are so excited to award four half-paid scholarships for swim lessons with Tiny Swimmers to:

This was not easy.

We had over 20 applications come in. Real families. Real stories. Kids who need this.

If you’ve ever watched your child near water and felt that fear in your chest, you understand why this matters.

For many autism families, water is not just something fun for the summer. It is a real safety concern. It is a life skill. It can be the difference in an emergency.

That’s why this project matters so much to us.

And we’re not stopping here.

We are actively looking for funding and grants so we can go back and serve more of the families who applied.

Just know we see them. We hear them. We are working on it.

This is something we are committed to growing, expanding, and bringing more awareness to. Our kids deserve access to skills that keep them safe.

💦🏊‍♀️ Tiny Swimmers Scholarship Applications Are Now Open! 🏊‍♂️💦

We’re excited to announce that Tiny Swimmers is now accepting applications for our swim lesson scholarships! These scholarships help provide children with access to life-saving water safety skills and swim instruction.

Thanks to support from Step Into Swim, we are able to offer no-cost/low-cost swim lessons to families in need this season.

Our program teaches children as young as 6 months old, focusing on important water safety skills like swim-float-swim for younger swimmers, helping them learn how to rest, breathe, and safely return to the wall.

📋 Who should apply?
Families who may need financial assistance and would benefit from their child learning essential water safety and swimming skills.

⚠️ Please note: Scholarship spots are limited and require a commitment to attend scheduled lessons.

We could not be prouder to work with Caiden's Corner - The Ausome Families Foundation!

🎉A huge shoutout to Kayla at Tiny Swimmers for sponsoring this and donating swim scholarships to us.

There’s a statistic many autism parents learn that stops you in your tracks.

Children with autism are 160 times more likely to drown than other children, and drowning is the leading cause of death following elopement.

For families living on the Gulf Coast, where water is everywhere, that reality is terrifying.

That’s why Caiden’s Corner partnered with Tiny Swimmers to create the Spectrum Swim Project.

One mom shared her story about her son, who started swim lessons at just 2.5 years old.

Before they ever stepped into the pool, Tiny Swimmers instructor Kayla took the time to understand him. His sensory needs. His communication style. What helped him feel safe?

The first few days weren’t about swimming.

They were about building trust.

They played with toys in the water. No pressure. No demands. Just a connection.

Once he felt safe, the learning began. Breath control. Reaching the wall. Rolling over to float.

Four weeks later, he could save his own life in the water.

That’s the kind of impact we want for more families in our community.

Through the Spectrum Swim Project, we are offering swim lesson scholarships for autism families thanks to our partnership with Tiny Swimmers.

💙 Exciting News from Tiny Swimmers! 💦

Tiny Swimmers is thrilled to be able to offer several no-cost/low-cost swim lessons to families in need this season, thanks to a grant from Step Into Swim.

Step Into Swim is a nationwide program with a mission to create more swimmers by providing safe access to swim lessons and water safety education. We are incredibly grateful to partner with an organization that believes so strongly in helping children gain these life-saving skills.

Water safety is something every child deserves the opportunity to learn, and this grant allows us to help remove barriers for families in our community.

🌊🏊‍♀️ Swim Lessons Start THIS Monday! 🏊‍♂️🌊

If you haven’t signed up yet, there’s still time! We have a few spots remaining as early as 3:40 PM and as late as 5:00 PM.

The pool is nice and toasty, so your little swimmers will be comfortable and confident in the water from day one.

Even better is this session wraps up by the beginning of April. Which means your little one will be water-ready and more confident just in time for those Spring Break trips!
