We're excited to announce that we will be awarding our final round of swim scholarships for August lessons! These scholarships help provide children with the opportunity to learn life-saving water safety skills and build confidence in the water.

🎉 New Classes Are Coming to Tiny Swimmers! 🏊‍♀️💦

We're excited to announce that Stroke Development and Parent & Me classes for July will be available for registration later this week!

Even more exciting, these classes will be taught by our newest instructor, Ms. Veronica! We can't wait for everyone to meet her and experience the fun, encouraging environment she brings to the pool. 💙

👶 Parent & Me Classes
Perfect for babies and toddlers up to 3 years old with a parent or caregiver in the water.

🗓️ Wednesdays in July
⏰ One 30-minute class per week (4 classes total)
💲 $100 for the month

These classes are designed to build water confidence, introduce basic swim skills, and create fun memories while teaching important water safety habits together.

🏊 Stroke Development
Designed for swimmers who have completed a survival swim program or are ready to build on their swimming skills.

🗓️ Tuesdays & Thursdays
📅 3-week session (registration is for the full session)
💲 $135 total

Swimmers will focus on stroke development, confidence, endurance, and refining their swimming skills in a fun and supportive setting.

📢 Registration opens later this week, so keep an eye on our page and Facebook group for the official announcement. Spots are limited and are expected to fill quickly!

🌊Meet Our Newest Tiny Swimmers Instructor – Ms. Veronica! 🌊

We are so excited to officially welcome Ms. Veronica to the Tiny Swimmers family!

Ms. Veronica is an elementary school teacher and the proud mom of two little boys—one of whom is currently enrolled in our Survival Swim program! As both an educator and a swim parent, she understands the importance of helping children gain confidence and develop life-saving skills in the water.

Water has always been a big part of Ms. Veronica's life. She began competitive swimming in grade school and later spent her summers working as a lifeguard. Her lifelong love of the water, combined with her passion for teaching, makes her a wonderful addition to our team.

More than anything, Ms. Veronica loves working with children and helping them become more confident—not just in the pool, but in everything they do. She has a calm, encouraging approach that helps children feel comfortable, supported, and excited to learn.

This July, Ms. Veronica will be leading our new Parent & Me classes and Stroke Development program, and we know our Tiny Swimmers families are going to love her!

🌊 Mobile Survival Swim Lessons Now Available! 🌊

Give your child the gift of water safety this summer with survival swim lessons brought directly to your home pool!

🚗 Mobile lessons — I come to you

✅ One-on-one instruction

✅ Learn in the comfort of your own pool

✅ Focus on essential water survival and self-rescue skills

✅ Sessions run Monday–Friday for 4 weeks

Survival swim lessons help children develop the skills and confidence needed to respond in a water emergency. Learning in a familiar environment can make the experience even more comfortable and effective.

📣 Looking for a fun, free activity for your little ones?

Just down the road from our swim school is a wonderful community resource where children can play, explore, create, and learn in a hands-on environment. It's a great place for toddlers and young children to spend time discovering new activities and using their imaginations.

One of the coolest features is their lending library, where families can check out toys, learning materials, and other resources to enjoy at home—for free!

If you're looking for something to do before or after swim lessons, this is definitely worth checking out.

43 children have already lost their lives to drowning in Florida this year — and tragically, 16 of those deaths occurred in May alone.

Drowning remains the leading cause of death for children ages 1-4 in Florida, and these numbers are a heartbreaking reminder that water safety must be a year-round priority.

The most difficult part is knowing that these tragedies are preventable.

There is no single solution, which is why we must use multiple layers of protection:

Constant, undistracted adult supervision
Doors/Windows locked and alarmed
Remove pet doors
Pool fences with self-closing, self-latching gates
Quality Self-Rescue swim lessons
Designated Water Watchers
CPR training for parents and caregivers

Drowning is often silent and can happen in seconds. It doesn't only happen during summer vacations or pool parties. It can happen any day, in any season, to any family.

At Live Like Jake, we believe every child deserves the chance to learn life-saving water skills and every family deserves access to drowning prevention education.

As we head into the busy summer months, please take a moment to evaluate your own layers of protection and share this message with others. Together, we can save lives.

Before the cookouts, pool days, and lake trips begin - a gentle reminder 🤍

Water safety is important 🐠 Drowning is the #1 cause of death in children four and under. “Everyone” is watching until it’s time to start the grill, grab a drink from the cooler, go the bathroom, etc. Accidents happen quickly, making life jackets and “water watchers” essentials for young children around any body of water.

Safe Kids > Anything Else.

⏰ Lesson Length:
10 minute private lessons
Monday through Friday

💲 Cost:
$120 per week
(This includes your $25 weekly deposit.)

❓ How long should my child enroll?
💧 Children under 5 years old: Minimum of 4 weeks recommended
💧 Children over 5 or children who have completed a survival program before: Minimum of 2 weeks recommended

These lessons are designed to build confidence, teach life-saving water safety skills, and help children become stronger swimmers in and around the water. 🌊✨
