Honoring Coach Lucy at Naples Island Swim. Great showing by the LBSU gang.

Our Kids 500 yard Swim Event had a Special Guest Coach - Lucy Johnson!
The Race Director Emeritus and USMS Coach gave the kids a pep talk before they splashed into the bay to churn to the Finish Line.

Lucy was honored for her many decades of serving as the Race Director of this Event.

The Founder of World Open Water Swimming, Steven Munatones, presented the Award to Lucy after speaking of her many years of being the torch bearer for an event that started in 1903.

Rich Foster, President of Aquatic Capital of America and the entire Board of Directors of ACOA were on hand to honor Lucy.
Lucy served as Vice President of ACOA for many years.
ACOA is a valued Partner of the Naples Island Swims.

Ideas to keep moving...

✅Bay or ocean swims - The bay water temp is approx. 61 degrees today 🏊🏻‍♀️🏊🏼🏊🏻‍♂️
✅Hiking 🧗🏽‍♀️
✅Long walks on the beach (Brian Kohlmeier has been doing a lot of this, good for you Brian).
✅Running
✅Surfing - if you don’t know how, it might be time to look into it🏄🏽‍♀️
✅Paddle boarding / kayaking
✅Cycling / mountain biking 🚴🏼‍♂️🚵🏿
✅Yoga 🧘🏼‍♂️🧘🏼this has been one of my favorite things to do. Check out YouTube for an assortment of different skill levels and styles.
