If your fortunate enough to have a mother today hug her tightly, give her a call, send a text etc. I have many people in my life who don’t have the honor of connecting in this way. To my aunties who are in heaven, I love you all and my hugs and kisses are with you always on this day and always. To my mom I hope you understand how much I love you. When I hug you I hug all of my tias. Love you fam.

As the sun began to set on the soccer field, the goalkeeper crouched down, ready to face the final penalty kick of the match. The score was tied, and the outcome of the game rested on her shoulders.

She closed her eyes and took a deep breath, trying to clear her mind and focus on the task at hand.
The crowd was silent as the opposing player stepped up to the penalty spot. The goalkeeper watched as the striker began her run-up, trying to anticipate which way she would go. At the last moment, she lunged to her left and made a spectacular save, sending the ball flying out of bounds.
The crowd erupted into cheers and the goalkeeper's teammates rushed over to congratulate her. She stood up, grinning from ear to ear and feeling a sense of accomplishment and pride wash over her. It had been a hard-fought match, but she had managed to keep a clean sheet and help her team earn a valuable point.
As she walked off the field, she knew that she had given it her all and had left everything out on the pitch. It was moments like these that made all of the hard work and dedication worth it. She couldn't wait for the next match and the opportunity to step between the posts once again.
These are the moments we live for and this is what keeps us going !

Big thank you to coach Derek Lesley for spending a few days with us at our winter camp. Having a diverse and worldly perspective about goalkeeping will always be the agenda of OGK. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and we look forward to future projects together !

One day when your career is all complete your gonna look back and ask “was there anything else I could have done to make myself just a tiny bit better ?”

Here is a wake up 📞 telling you to get with a strong committed group of keepers and push until there is no more to give.

A strong culture involves a strong commitment to the art of goalkeeping, this requires sacrifice and faith even when you can not see the finish line.

There is no secret to mastery. No amount of social media fog will ever compensate for the amount of time it takes to master your craft with the simple things.

You can’t fake putting in the time, it will always reward you or expose you.
