Accuracy & command are more than hitting your spots in practice. It takes years to fully understand what it feels like to own your placement of pitches so well that you trust every pitch coming out of your hand.
It starts with accountability; not allowing yourself to lean on the side of error. If you say you’re going to hit a spot —> don’t leave feeling good if it was an inch off. Keep trying.
It takes thousands of the same reps, hitting the same locations. It can be boring for some. For others, we find ways to be creative with challenges while doing the same thing over and over again.
It takes live games, getting out of tough situations and coming in at the end of a close game. It takes experience.
Confidence starts with getting the reps in practice, and it grows with each game. That’s truly why I love targets like this —> I can have fun making new challenges for myself and I’m able to hold myself accountable by inches!
Love you guys!
