I Do this because it’s a privilege and a chosen discipline. This isn’t work! This isn’t a chore ! You change your perspective in this fitness thing and I guarantee you’ll see an increase in your commitment which will lead to long term results.

Am Fasted pics:

As a professional I was high criticized about my back. It wasn’t as dominant as my front and side shots.

This left me high critical of myself to the point I never gave myself grace to enjoy the moment. It was always a cat and mouse game of how I could be bigger and better.

Now that I’m done competing and enjoying every moment I want to show my viewers how to turn a weak body part into a dominant body part. My rear double and lat spread will be very impressive by the time I’m done with it.

Note to anyone chasing their fitness goals or new to the sport. Avoid comparing yourself to others or you’ll never be adequate enough , instead work hard and trust in your own work ethic. Eventually you will get there , so don’t let the negative things rob you of truly enjoying what’s in front of you .

Decided to pull back on food because the I felt uneasy about the slight increase in blood pressure. Also I started to realize it was getting harder and harder mentally to eat the food.

Rather than over stress my body with excessive calories and impact my training I decided to pull back by 1000 cals. I’m a firm believer if my training is compromised then it’s not worth it because that’s the most important stimulus to building muscle. So if you take PeD or orals and notice it changes your appetite or performance in the gym , ask yourself why you’re taking it in the first place ? These should be tools to increase performance not hinder.

Ps: when I say I was experimenting slight hypertension I mean 136-138 over my normal range. So is it deathly alarming? Of course not and I could have combated it with blood pressure medication and beta blockers ? Yes but , to me that’s not bodybuilding. That’s like robbing Peter to pay Paul. Fix the issue if you can. Then when all else fails or genetics says otherwise add in a medication solution be BP is important .

How can you expect to lead someone where you never been ? I found that path to overcome obstacles , injuries , self doubt , motivation, discipline and I want to share it with all of you.

💪🏽 If you really want to make improvements 3 things will happen.

1.) There will be a point in time when the calorie surplus becomes more difficult than dieting down and fighting the cravings.

2.) you will prioritize your health. We often attribute being full and pumped as the norm for offseason gains. However what about BP issues or even monitoring resting heart rate? The dangers and damage of bodybuilding can be less about the PEDs itself and more so about a he sudden shift in body weight.

3.) You’ll track everything. The less variables you have to stress about this far out will only transition into a more manageable prep. Offseason to pre contest shouldn’t be a hot and cold type of thing but rather consistency all across the boards with more frequent rest markers.

This is part of my self discipline. To some this may be just working out to me this is the refinement process. I strengthen my mind, my body and prepare it for the everyday discipline required to walk in agreement with God.

“Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever. Therefore I do not run like someone running aimlessly; I do not fight like a boxer beating the air. No, I strike a blow to my body and make it my slave so that after I have preached to others, I myself will not be disqualified for the prize.
