The females I have trained have osteoporosis, arthritis, post surgery, pregnancy, obesity, etc. I have been an ACE certified personal trainer since 1993. I also teach bootcamp and group fitness classes, and do corporate fitness training. In addition, I was featured in the Bun and Thigh Sculptor infomercial, and I am a Beachbody Coach, representing Shakeology and popular fitness programs like P90X

, Insanity, and 21 Day Fix. When I am not in a gym, I love to bicycle ride, kayak, rollerblade, play tennis, take a walk, etc. All aspects of fitness interest me, and I love inspiring others to live a healthy and fit lifestyle. Bodyweight exercises are timeless because they work.

Long before fancy machines, fitness apps, and high-tech equipment, people built strong, capable bodies using one thing:

Their own body weight.

Push-ups.
Squats.
Lunges.
Planks.
Sit-ups.

Simple movements that challenge multiple muscles at once and improve strength, balance, coordination, and endurance.

Jack LaLanne spent decades teaching these exercises because they deliver results.

They require little space.
No membership.
No special equipment.

And they can be adapted for nearly any age or fitness level.

Bodyweight training teaches your body how to move the way it was designed to move.

Push yourself off the floor.
Stand up from a chair.
Climb stairs.
Carry your own weight through life.

Those are real-world skills.

Fitness trends come and go.

The fundamentals remain.

If an exercise has been helping people get stronger for generations, there is a good reason.
