On Saturday October 24th, the 11th annual GFD engine company Halloween 5 K will be held in Greenlawn, NY.

The race features a fast and flat 2 loop course, clocks at each mile , water stops and live results on runsignup.com by Start to Finish corp. Awards to overall male and female, first responders and top 3 in each m/f age group.

There will be a Halloween costume contest after the race for the Best male and female costume run in the race and both boys and girls.

On Sunday October 18th, the annual Malverne Run for Education 5 K will be held starting at 9 am. In addition there is a Fun Run for kids starting at 8:30 am

The race starts and finishes at the Malverne HS/JR on Ocean Avenue in Malverne, NY.

The event features an excellent t-shirt, an accurate 5 K course through the surrounding neighborhood, clocks at each mile, water stops and scoring and timing by Start To Finish Corp.

On Father's Day June 21st, come join us in celebrating the 25th Annual D. C. Raymond M. Downey Forever Running 5 K Run in Deer Park NY.

The event is truly a family fun event with a kids Fun Run at 9 am, Kids rides, and a fast flat certified 5 K course ( 9:30 am ) with lots of volunteers. There will be clocks at each mile, water stops and an overhead clock at the finish line with timing and scoring by Start to Finish Corp using My Laps chips and timing mats.

And after the race, a great raffle, barbecue, plenty of beverages. and plenty of awards with the cool Father/son and father/daughter category.

Come join the Downey Family in celebration the life of their Dad, Raymond M. Downey, the Master of Disaster.

On Saturday June 13th, the 45th annual Robert J. Aaron Mighty Montauk Triathlon will be held in Montauk NY.

Long considered one of the east end season openers, the RJA Memorial is one of the longest, continuous triathlons on Long Island! We will be celebrating our 45th anniversary this year. Since Robert's death in 2002, the race has been used as a fund raiser for pancreatic Cancer Research, supporting the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer.
The Olympic race consists of a 1-mile swim, 20-mile bike and 6.2 miles run. The Aquabike consists of the 1-mile swim and 20-mile bike. The recently added Sprint triathlon consists of a 1/2-mile swim, 14-mile bike and 3.8-mile run. The Olympic race/Aquabike goes off at 7:30am and the Sprint follows at approximately 8 am.

On Sunday June 7th, the annual 5Towns 5K Run/walk for Israel will be held at North Woodmere Park in Woodmere N.Y. starting at 9:30 am. In addition there is a Kid's Fun Run starting at 9 am.

The run/walk will be presented by the Israel Chesed Center. The Israel Chesed Center is the Five Towns' community response to the Simchat Torah Massacre. It supports chayalim, displaced persons and medical volunteers to name just a few of their projects. It has grown to be the largest Israel local support organization in the USA.

On Sunday May 24th, The Forest Park Runners Classic 4 Mile Run and Trail run will be held starting and finishing at Victory Field in Woodhaven Queens at 10 am

The course is a 4 mile out and back loop through and around the beautiful trails and roads of Forest Park, starting and finishing on the Track at Victory field. Split times at each mile, Race timing by Start to Finish Corp using My laps chips and timing mats. Overhead clock at finish, race results posted on site and on Runsignup.com
