Long Beach Yoga Original hot yoga, Inferno Hot Pilates, yin, vinyasa, hatha, and sound baths. Veteran and former LEO owned. Our community has grown, and so has our repertoire!

Your neighborhood yoga studio since 2010 has expanded its offerings! Up until a few years ago, we only provided the original hot yoga (Bikram) series. We now have almost 50 classes a week (and they’re not all hot)! We offer warm vinyasa, sound baths, and of course our tried-and-true Bikram yoga and signature nightly hot yin. ve remained exceptionally high. Every one of our 20 weekly yoga teachers is highly experienced, capable, and passionate. Many are globally renowned. They are true experts in what they teach, and we adore them.

You’re gonna see a new (but very familiar) face at the desk and on the podium regularly, starting now! Our very own Grace MacDonald () graduated from a month-long 300+ hour original hot yoga training in Utah with back in March, and she has been KILLING IT. She jumped right in to subbing classes and working the front desk. She’s helping hold down the fort while Jackie and Frank run their retreat in Mexico (also with the Ivy Standard Yoga Institute)! Be sure to introduce yourself to her, but you probably already know her from the thousand classes she’s taken here.

• YOU SHOW UP AT ANY TIME BETWEEN 7:00 AM AND 8:30 AM AND PRACTICE ASHTANGA AT YOUR OWN PACE IN THE WARM ROOM.

• FRANK WILL WALK AROUND AND OFFER HANDS-ON ASSISTS, MODIFICATIONS, AND ADDITIONAL POSTURE HELP.

• THE SEQUENCE WILL BE PRINTED OUT FOR YOU IF YOU DON’T HAVE IT MEMORIZED.

It’s been five years since we had a new yoga graduate teach their very first class here, and today broke the spell! Grace taught twenty-two of us a focused, fun, and clear 90-minute Bikram class. (We give extra kudos to our two Pilates girlies who walked in not knowing what they were walking into, but they KILLED it and stayed in the room the whole time!)

Grace, you showed up prepared, and all of the hard work you’ve been putting in for months has really paid off. We are so proud of you, and we can’t wait to take your class again!

(The coolest thing of this photo? At least half of these students were in either Jackie, Frank’s, or Coleen’s first classes too.)

And then afterwards, of course, we had an impromptu teacher feedback session and Frank hopped across the street and brought back donuts from (duh).

Grace MacDonald here just finished her 300-hr original hot yoga training in Salt Lake City with . Naturally, the first thing she did when she got home to us is take John Salvatore’s 90-minute hot and steamy Bikram class. Boy, was she shocked when he called her up to the podium and had her teach five postures! (She did great so he had her keep going and going!)

Real talk: how terrifying is it to have the legend in front of you the first time you step onto the podium? Absolute rock star.

Thank you for keeping our community and the yoga strong. We are so proud and blessed to be your studio owners. Thank you to our amazing staff who has stood by our side, and for Anne being so amazing and involved this whole time. We are so excited to go into our fifth year!
