Something to keep in mind; our experienced captain and crew have their fingers on the fishing pulse for the local area and will be more than happy to discuss where and how they think your trip will be the most successful. We have fished at San Clemente island, Catalina island, Santa Barbara island and many of the local inshore and offshore locations in search of the best fishing experience that we can possibly provide. A typical trip aboard Options consists of:
A typical trip aboard Options will leave late afternoon or early evening from the Pierpoint Landing facility. Options will usually travel to the area most likely to produce the best fishing results during the evening; these include but are not limited to Catalina island, San Clemente Island, Santa Barbara island, Palos Verdes Peninsula and more. Generally, fishing will begin very early in the morning for the target species - quite often White Seabass or Yellowtail. This is generally followed by fishing either for Calico Bass, Halibut, Bonito or Rock Fish into the afternoon.
