Gravity Dance Company is a contemporary dance company founded and directed by Shiquita Boyd-Sargent. In 2010, after years of being a choreographer and dancer, Shiquita founded the company, seeking a forum for young artists, both professional and pre-professional, to represent themselves and their love of movement. Her wealth of knowledge in the entertainment industry as both a professional dancer
and model have given her the right tools to run what has become a vivid, eclectic collection of artistry and motion. Along with performing, Gravity Dance Company also offers training in Jazz, Ballet, Hip-Hop, Jazz Funk, Lyrical, Contemporary, Tap, Dance Conditioning and more! We offer private lessons in all genres of dance for young dancers of all ages. You can come to us or we can come to you, as we are an operational and travel based dance company based out of Long Beach, Ca.
