CSULB Sailing Team

CSULB Sailing Team The CSULB Sailing Team is back after about a 20 year hiatus!! We are a fun, supportive, & competitive team with great jokes, and welcome all potential sailors.

As of spring '11 we are competitive members of the Pacific Coast Collegiate Sailing Conference (PCCSC). We currently have a strong and talented squad of 12 sailors, all of which vary in sailing experience. Some of us have been sailing our whole lives, and for others, it's their first year. 7/12 of our team members are US Sailing certified sailing coaches! That is a huge benefit because we have be

en able to mold beginner sailors (one who has never stepped foot in a boat) to members of our varsity squad! If you have ever thought about sailing, and would like to represent CSULB/LBC, DO NOT HESITATE to contact us. We have obtained a large amount of local support and hope to build upon that. GO BEACH

Your favorite sailing team had a great time at the ICSA Coed National Championship! While we unfortunately did not make it to finals, there was some great sailing in beautiful and iconic Newport, RI. Thank you to everyone who helped us get to this point! We’d especially like to thank Long Beach Sailing Foundation, Alamitos Bay Youth Sailing Foundation, for helping us make it out east!
