Thurs'Day To Eve' Market Cancellation Notice

The safety of our vendors, musicians, food trucks, and patrons will always be our top priority. Many of our vendors travel from up to an hour away to be here each week. With the threat of severe weather and potentially dangerous storms in the forecast, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tonight's event.

While we know this is disappointing, we believe it is the right decision for everyone involved.

We appreciate your understanding and continued support of our vendors, musicians, and the Discover Driftless community. We look forward to seeing everyone back at the market next week under safer skies.

🌦️ A little cloudy, maybe a few showers? That's just Wisconsin being Wisconsin.

The forecast may be bringing some gray skies, and a lot of rain- but we're still bringing the fun!

Tonight at Discover Driftless, you'll find live music on the stage (or in the barn), cold drinks waiting for you, and dinner AND ice cream from Udder Brothers' Creamery out front. We're also expecting Little Sister Cookies with plenty of sweet treats.

*** UPDATE*** For the safety of our guests and vendors we have made the difficult decision to cancel the market today.

We've got the barn, we've got the shelter, and we've got plenty of room to gather, rain or shine.

After all, this is Wisconsin. If we waited for perfect weather, we'd never do anything. 😉 However we will keep an eye on the radar and if it isn't safe to travel we will have to give in and call the show.

Hey folks! Marc, the winemaker here at Spurgeon Winery speaking.
Long before I took on the passion for producing quality wine, learning from Glen while adding my own personality into each bottle, my first passion has always been music. Because of this, amongst my long list of duties and responsibilities here, has been the installation of music on site. Sips N Song Saturday, Open Mic, and all of our pairing events, I believe that quality music brings the full experience to any setting. I myself am a musician, and have always had a special place in my heart for a real sound, meaningful, reflective lyrics, and stories from the heart and a life lived. Something all of us can connect with.
That being said, something extra special is happening here on June 6. My friend Michael Johnson Music will be here for Sips N Song Saturday. Mike is one of the most talented songwriters out there right now, and will be releasing his 2nd album, titled "A Road I Know," on June 5. We plan to celebrate the occasion with a great afternoon filled with songs from the new album, his previous album, "Longer Days," and possibly some stories behind the music, and maybe a few covers that inspire him sprinkled in.
So be sure to stop out, grab a glass or bottle, and sit back and join us in celebrating and congratulating Mike on another top shelf installment into the world of music!
