OK, we hit the entry cap of 100 drivers for Sunday at 7:30pm last night… only SEVEN-point-five flippin’ hours after registration opened! You are all amazing and this is just unprecedented for the LPTT. Tearing up a little bit… talk amongst yourselves. Now, here’s the deal. Sunday had the +1 entry that hit the 100 mark last night. Saturday got filled shortly thereafter. And registration doesn’t even close for two months! So, hang in there my good people. If you are dialed in and dedicated to a showing at this year’s LPTT, register up on the waitlist. I will be filling in any and all cancellations in the order they are logged in by time and date. Just hurry up and do so if you would.

In other news, online registration opened at noon today. It's now 3:00'sh on the button, and we have basically 80 entrants per day already! Just increadible. So, keep in mind the entry cap is 100 per day. This thing is going to sell out by this afternoon, no joke. Then all additional entries will go on the "waitlist". Not kidding when I remind everyone to get registered ASAP.

I found this little piece of LPTT history on ebay just moments ago. It will now reside with the rest of the historical archive items that I have been gradually building up over the years. I know there is so much more out there. Just need to catch the attention of the caretakers.

Hello to all of my Lone Pine Time Trial friends! It’s been a crazy start of the New Year, but I am very happy to announce that online registration for the 2025 LPTT will open at noon today! We had some details to sort out with the Motorsportreg.com site and it looks to be dialed in now. Please read through all of the information that is on the registration page. Most of your questions should be addressed within. Also note that the decision was made to close registration on April 16th, no refunds after that date. It will go towards the charitable donation to the Los Angelos Braille Institute Youth Programs, and we are looking to donate to the Lone Pine Volunteer Fire Department as well.

It is anticipated that the 100-driver entry cap will be hit even sooner than last year, so do not hesitate to get registered ASAP, and get your lodging accommodation sorted out. The host Hotel/Motel is the historic Dow Villa and they have only, but thankfully, 10 motel rooms blocked for us. Let them know you’re there for the Time Trials. Those rooms will be held until April 16th. We will have a waitlist for those that miss the entry cut, as there are inevitably some cancellations.

I will have some more updates and announcements as details evolve over the weeks ahead. On behalf of the Lone Pine Time Trial committee, the contributors, and the Lone Pine community, thank you for supporting this special event for a cause. Let’s go racing!

Lone Pine Time Trials, May 2023:
I'll be passing through later this week on a long overdue family camping vacay just west out of Bishop. Anticipating a strange feeling to only do a fly-by. The Manzanar Airport has been my chappel for so, so long. I'll be sure to do a drive around and confess my sins on the way. And, my plans for next year.
