North Laurel Nation, we are excited to introduce the next leader of Jaguar Baseball, Coach Nathan Stewart.
Coach Stewart is no stranger to North Laurel Athletics. His commitment to our students and athletes spans more than two decades and reflects a deep passion for developing young people both on and off the field.
His coaching journey began as Head Baseball Coach at North Laurel Middle School from 2005 to 2006. He then served as an Assistant Basketball Coach from 2006 to 2007 while continuing to invest in student-athletes across multiple programs.
Coach Stewart has served as an Assistant Baseball Coach at North Laurel High School from 2006 to 2009 and again from 2024 to the present, helping guide and develop countless players throughout his tenure. From 2011 to 2024, he led the North Laurel High School Bass Fishing program as Head Coach, building a successful and respected program while mentoring student-athletes in competition, sportsmanship, and leadership.
His passion for player development extends far beyond the school setting. Coach Stewart served as a Yard Goat Travel Baseball Coach from 2019 to 2023 and has provided individual hitting and pitching instruction since 2006, helping numerous athletes improve their skills and reach their goals.
Most recently, he returned to the diamond as an Assistant Baseball Coach at North Laurel Middle School during the 2023-2024 season, continuing his dedication to building the future of baseball in our community.
What makes Coach Stewart uniquely qualified for this position is not just his years of experience, but his investment in North Laurel. He understands our traditions, values our community, and has spent years helping shape the young men who wear the Jaguar uniform.
Please join me in welcoming a coach, mentor, teacher, and lifelong supporter of North Laurel Athletics as the new Head Baseball Coach of the North Laurel Jaguars…
