The Smoke Black baseball is looking to potentially add players for the 25-26 season as a rising 10U. We will host tryouts, tentatively on August 17th, 2:30 PM. Location, South Laurel Little League

Team Information: Smoke Black Baseball, Rising 10U for the 25-26 season. Players cannot turn 11 prior to May 1, 2026 or must be in the 4th grade for the 25-26 school year.

Location: London, KY (South Laurel)

Commitment: We practice 3 times a week, try to play in 3 tournaments a month, a lot of tournaments are 2 day tournaments. Typically we travel anywhere from 1-2 hours from London. We try to set dates up front, but dates can change basedon weather, tournament availability.

Season: Our playing season runs from March-July. Practice will begin toward the end of January.

Fees: The fees are minimal for our organization and will be discussed at tryouts.

Roster size: We intend on a roster of 12 players. A set amount of playing time is not guaranteed, but will be based on performance.

What a day of baseball… 95 degrees, 4 straight games, not the end outcome we wanted, but battling adversity, and finishing in the semis was something they can be proud of. This is all about the process and we will continue trying to develop for our future together.

Another good weekend of baseball for our Smoke Black boys.

This process is all about growth and development which is what we witness every time out for these boys.

Smoke Black had the opportunity to play some baseball today. We had some kids with league games who we missed, but decided to try and play with the ones who didn’t have league games today so that our kids could experience some normalcy.

Before the game, we spoke to our kids about being blessed to play a game of baseball especially under the circumstances our community had experienced the last week.

Our kids responded by playing with great effort, attitude, and passion all day long. If you look close at some eye black, you might see a simple, 606. Even young kids get it.
