Join us Saturday Honoring a hero. she worked out with us here for .aldene_aka_storm and officer baby shower. Officer Becky was beloved by her department served with LAPD for 25 years and recently passed away with Complications from Covid 19 at the way too young age of 57. 9am this Saturday (8/21). Wod is as follows. 1 mile run, 57 snatches at 75/55, and 25 burpees over bar. All movements she Loved to hate. The snatches a nod to also of LAPD.

Who else can say that they are number 1 in anything in an athletic 1st world super power. so far #1 in all of Japan for her age group athlete #8 in all of Japan and #64 in all of Asia. I wanted to take a second to thank the “givers” in our gym. We have an overwhelming amount of givers. The takers don’t last more then a month. I’m grateful that we are surrounded by givers and people that Love and are emotionally invested in our gym and their own health and fitness. .francisco took it upon himself to have one of our benches repaired, keeps our gym clean refusing to take payment. refusing to be paid so that members in the past or current can have their membership covered. Matt Yu leaving equipment for the gym to use, always letting us borrow equipment as needed during “the open” and even donating equipment they no longer use. for fixing our two rowers. (Those computers are $160 a piece plus shipping please be good to our equipment). Lani Walker sending home made treats to everyone in 630 class because she misses us (taking time off). laundering our hand towels daily and baking treats for folks even taking the extra steps to accommodate our vegans. Randomly. Jesse Rodriguez and His gf Leslie and now Marco cleaning the gym as well. Tom Moore always fixing stuff and sacrificing his workout because something needs to be fixed in the gym. Chole getting stuff done when we can get her here. I can recall organizing a group of people to organize and retouch up the gym about 2 years ago with a squad of folks that brought me to tears. All of the above are done really with out me asking but some how someway the good and the creme has always risen to the top. This last year has been challenging and an imperfect storm. The open is hear and a time for healing and propelling ourselves to thrive and NOT just survive. I am soooo looking forward to “the open”. It won’t be like years past do to current county health regulations. We’ll run it during class times. But we will still have fun and play hard. Love you all and thank you from the depths of my soul. Let’s do this!!!!❣️❣️❣️

is one of the best elementary school teachers you’ll ever meet. We met her shortly after baby 1, and she took a long time after baby 2 and now back with a vengeance. has her counting macros she’s here now several days a week including open gym at 6am ON A SUNDAY?!!! Does personal training with and says she wants her first pull-up by the new year..... I think she’s gonna get it too.
