Heritage Arms Inc.

Heritage Arms Inc. Heritage Arms, Inc. was founded in 1998 by machinist’s who love to shoot. Starting with making replacement parts for the Re*****on 600, 660 and Mohawk.

Our President started in the fi****ms trade during the late 1970’s, doing simple gunsmithing projects such as customizing military surplus rifles, glass bedding, scope mounting, trigger jobs and custom replacement parts for old Winchesters. One of his high school shop projects was a Frank DeHaas single shot rifle action, complete with custom barrel and a hand crafted stock, this will probably neve

r again be allowed as a project in our current public school system. We decided to expand and moved to our current location in 2005 where we acquired several state-of-the-art CNC mills, lathes, a five axis wire EDM, and several conventional machines, including the latest CAD/CAM programming software to supply our clients with a full range of custom gun work with the exacting tolerances required for the fi****ms industry. From simple gunsmithing to complete manufacturing of custom designed components, we strive to insure total satisfaction and quality with everything we produce. We have made AR lowers from billet, bolt action rifles in various calibers from 17 to 50, produced custom cartridge cases for obsoletes offering such as the 4 Bore, 3 Bore and 2 Bore. Our list includes several Picatinny rails, scope mounts, QD scope rings and custom designed muzzle brakes. We are so confident you will be completely happy with the products you purchase from our company, that we guarantee them 100%. If you should happen to find one of our custom machined items is not up to the highest standards, we encourage you to return them for a replacement or a refund.* We always welcome phone calls to discuss any concerns you may have either prior to purchasing or after you receive your merchandise. Your satisfaction is very important to us. We take pride in being able to state we have made everything from “kid’s toys to Aero-space parts,” and would welcome the opportunity to approach your machining needs, one off to full production. Our current staff has over 100 years of close tolerance machining skills. We look forward to doing business with you.

Precision rifles, not plinkers.

We share a similar name with a budget brand, which leads to some confusion in our Google and Facebook reviews. Let's clear the air: Heritage Arms Inc. is a high-end, custom precision machine shop. We don't make cheap .22 Pistols on an assembly line. We machine uncompromising, sub-MOA rifle components for shooters who demand absolute perfection.

Millimeters at the bench matter at 1,000 yards.

We don't guess, and we don't assume. When you are building rifles designed to impact targets at extreme distances, a fraction of an inch of slop at the action translates to a devastating miss downrange. Lawrence double and triple-checks every dimension with digital calipers to ensure absolute, uncompromising perfection before any part leaves the bench.

The blueprint comes first.

Every custom rifle that lands on our bench has its own unique set of tolerances and challenges. We don't just clamp metal into a vise and go in blind. Lawrence uses decades of experience to diagnose the issue and engineer the exact solution needed before a single machine gets turned on. We plan the work, and then we execute to ensure flawless precision.

Precision sometimes requires a hammer.

There is a massive difference between blindly swinging a hammer and knowing exactly how to drift a stubborn pin without marring a customer's action. Lawrence has spent decades at the bench mastering that balance. Whether a build requires micrometer-level CNC finesse or old-school brute force, we have the experience to get it done right the first time.

Looking for an old-school shop that knows the difference? Link below to get your project on our bench.

Direct access to the bench.

When you walk through the doors at Heritage Arms Inc., you don't talk to a salesman. You talk directly to the master gunsmith who will actually be doing the work. Verified to the thousandth.

We don't just cut metal; we verify it. Every single component that comes off our mills and lathes—down to the smallest extractor or custom pin—is meticulously mic'd and inspected before it ever touches a customer's rifle. If it doesn't hold our exact tolerances, it doesn't leave the shop.

Stop primer cratering.

We have Lawrence on the lathe today knocking out a precision bolt bushing. If you are seeing primer cratering or blanking on your brass, your factory firing pin clearances are too loose. We machine these custom bushings to exact tolerances to correct the clearance and lock that firing pin down.

Having bolt issues or ruining good brass? Send it to the pros. Link in bio to get your bolt on our bench.

Interrupting the master.

We had to stop Lawrence on the lathe today just long enough to grab a photo before he got back to cutting metal. When you have a gunsmith with decades of experience on the floor, you don't want to break their focus for long. He is back to turning custom bolts and holding the exact tolerances that put Heritage Arms inc on the map.

Name this malfunction.

We receive mail-in repairs every day, but some are definitely worse than others. Lawrence has this catastrophic failure on the bench today to see if we can get it back in the fight. Let's have some fun in the comments—best title for this disaster wins.

Fresh off the mill.

Another massive precision run of billet trigger guards is officially in the books. These are flying out the door to custom gunsmiths and builders almost as fast as we can cut them, and they rarely stay on the shelf for long. If you are still running a cracked, warped, or cheap factory plastic guard, it's time to upgrade your foundation.
