We are so proud of each of our State Qualifiers! It’s an amazing feat to be included as one of the top 18 athletes in the state in an event. There are roughly 35,000 high school track & field athletes competing in Ohio; roughly 7,000 athletes per division. Making it to States and competing at that level is something to be incredibly proud of! Great job Sam, Sophie, Lauren & Tristan!

Congrats Sam Pennington! 6th place podium finish in Long Jump with a jump of 17’ 7.5”, All-Ohio Honors, 2nd consecutive podium at State & a great Junior season!

TRACK AND FIELD: The qualifiers are set for this week’s OHSAA Jesse Owens Track and Field State Championships, which begin Thursday afternoon at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium. It marks the 119th annual boys and 51st annual girls state tournament, and the first state tournament under the new five division format.
